You'll have the opportunity to identify the types of behavior and attitudes that contribute to leadership success. Working with your peers, you'll be able to establish ways to enhance your leadership skills at every level.

Cohort Meet-Up #1: Acting Intrapreneurially
Group Activity Due December 21, 2016

Download the Acting Intrapreneurially Activity and take it to your Cohort Meet-Up.

Working on your own, complete Exercise 15.1 Section A and Section B.

Divide into pairs and complete Exercise 15.1 Section C.

Reconvene with the rest of your Cohort Members and complete Exercise 15.1 Section D.

Pair up with a different partner and complete Exercise 15.2 Section A.

Reconvene with the rest of your Cohort Members and complete Exercise 15.2 Section B.

Then, split into groups of 4 and complete Exercise 15.2 Section C. After you have completed it, reconvene with the rest of your Cohort Members and share your ideas.

Working individually, complete Exercise 15.2 Section D. After you have completed it, pair up with your partner from Exercise 15.2 Section A and identify at least one action to which you will commit.

Take the best practices learned from this Cohort Meet-up Activity back to your department and share your recommendations for implementation.
Cohort Meet-Up #2: Leadership Shield and Development Plan
Partner Activity Due December 30, 2016
Continue applying what you have learned about effective leadership by designing and using a Leadership Shield and Development Plan.

Download the Leadership Shield and Development Plan Activity and take it with you to your Cohort Meet-Up.

At the Cohort Meet-Up, pair up with a partner to complete the activity. Once completed, solicit feedback from each other on ways to further develop your leadership skills.

Then, reconvene with your Cohort and share 1 item on your Leadership Shield and 1 goal from your Development Plan. Explain why you chose to include these items.

Next, share your Leadership Shield and Development Plan with your supervisor by asking for feedback and focusing on when and how to implement your action steps.
Ops Teach-Back: 212 The Extra Degree
Team-Taught Training Due January 11, 2017
This is your opportunity to practice your leadership skills and motivate others as well as disseminate and reinforce learning by sharing 212 The Extra Degree with the Operations Department.
